I was recently reading a news article when one statement really struck me.  The statement was, “Treat your spouse as you hope your children will treat theirs.”  What a great statement.  You have probably heard the statement, “The best gift you can give your children is a strong marriage.”  This saying does hold truth, however, we often fail to realize why it is a valuable statement.  Perhaps we focus on idea of a loving home supporting and encouraging the children, and while that is to be commended, there is a simpler truth.  You are a role model.
