Keeping Thanksgiving
Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
-1 Thessalonians 5:18-
On Thanksgiving we all gather with family and friends to reflect on how blessed we truly are. We thank God for the health and prosperity He has bestowed upon us. We tear up when we look at our children and parents. We reminisce about Thanksgivings long gone and smile.
Then something magical happens. We wake up at 3AM, if we went to bed at all, and we leave our homes as though headed to a prize-fight. Forget thankfulness! I’ve got to get my game-face on for the fight at Wal-Mart! Read the rest of this entry
